To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will publish a list of listed buildings of all categories within(a) Renfrew district and (b) Paisley, South constituency.

The issue raised has been delegated to the chief executive of Historic Scotland and I have asked him to write to the hon. Member.

Letter from Graeme Munro to Mr. Gordon McMaster, dated 19 May 1993:

I refer to your recent written question to Sir Hector Monro, for answer on 12 May, regarding lists of listed buildings within (a) Renfrew District and (b) Paisley South constituency..

Lists of listed buildings together with catergories are available for public inspection at all planning authority offices. Similarly, copies of the lists are kept for public inspection at Historic Scotland's headquarters in Edinburgh.

I have enclosed copies of the lists for Paisley Burgh and the remainder of Renfrew District for your information. In addition, I have deposited copies of the lists in the House of Commons Library.
