§ Mr. Douglas HoggThe information requested about the cost of the register is not readily available and could only be provided at disproportionate cost. The United Kingdom's return was submitted to the United Nations Secretary-General on 29 April. It was circulated to conference on security and co-operation in Europe participating states on 5 May. The purpose of exports not covered by a footnote in the United Kingdom's return was the fulfilment of contracts placed by the Governments of the countries concerned.
