LIBYAN CITIZENS IN PRISON SERVICE
ESTABLISHMENTS
The Home Secretary has asked me to write to you directly in reply to your Parliamentary Question about the number of Libyan citizens currently serving sentences and the numbers on remand. The latest available provisional figures are for 28 February 1993. They show that eight prisoners serving sentences in prison service establishments in England and Wales had their nationality recorded as Libyan. There were no remand prisoners recorded as having Libyan nationality.
