§ Mr. ForthMy right hon. Friend has received written representations about the length of the school day from 14 parents, two governors and three teachers in the past 12 months. Letters received from governors and teachers have generally been concerned with the procedures required to change the length of the school day; and letters from parents with the desirability of a longer school day.
