§ Mr. David HuntSince publishing my White Paper on 1 March 1993, I have received one written representation in support of a Caernarfonshire and Meirionnyddshire unitary authority. In addition, I have received 10 representations in favour of a Meirionnydd unitary authority and 181 representations in favour of a Montgomeryshire unitary authority. I have also received 4,135 signed postcards in favour of unitary authority status for Montgomeryshire.
