To ask the Secretary of state for Health (1) whether a rolling capitation system of dental remuneration for treating non-exempt adults is to be introduced;

(2) what will be the role of family health service authorities in the provision of general dental services following consideration of the Bloomfield report on dental remuneration;

(3) what new arrangements for dentistry in the general dental service will be put in place after consideration of the Bloomfield report on dental remuneration;

(4) if she will make it her policy that (a) the doctors and dentists pay review should continue to exist under any new service arrangements for dentistry following consideration of the Bloomfield report on dental remuneration and (b) the current expenditure on dental services should remain at its present level;

(5) if she will (a) ring fence family health services authority funds for general dental services and (b) uprate funds in addition to inflation factors.
