§ Mr. LangThe terms of reference of the independent inquiry are as follows
To inquire into the circumstances which led to a review of 20,000 cervical smear test results for the period 1987 to early 1992 undertaken at Inverclyde hospital laboratory.To report to the Minister of State and make recommendations.
These terms will enable the inquiry team to take account of all relevant matters and to make the recommendations which they consider appropriate. The matters to which you refer will be drawn to the attention of the inquiry team.
The membership of the inquiry team is as follows:
