Manufacturing Industry (Hansard, 31 March 1993)

§ Mr. Ingram
To ask the President of the Board of Trade if he will give details of the launch aid given to each sector of the manufacturing industry in each of the last five years.

§ Mr. Leigh
[holding answer 30 March 1993]: Launch aid is provided under the Civil Aviation Act 1982 and is 212W available only to the aerospace industry. Launch aid received by the aerospace industry in each of the last five years is as follows:

To ask the President of the Board of Trade if he will give details of the projected launch aid to be given to each sector of the manufacturing industry for each of the next two financial years.

§ Mr. Leigh
[holding answer 30 March 1993]: Launch aid is provided under the Civil Aviation Act 1982 and is available only to the aerospace industry. Projected launch aid to be given in 1993–94 is £2.6 million. At this stage there are no plans to provide launch aid in 1994–95.

§ Mr. Ingram
To ask the President of the Board of Trade if he will give details of the repayments of launch aid made by each sector of manufacturing industry for each of the last five years.

§ Mr. Leigh
[holding answer 30 March 1993]: Launch aid is provided under the Civil Aviation Act 1982 and is only available to the aerospace industry. Repayments of launch aid received by the aerospace industry in each of the last five years is as follows:
