Mr. Ingram

To ask the President of the Board of Trade how often Ministry of Defence representatives have attended meetings of the aviation committee in each of the last three years.

[holding answer 30 March 1993]: Representatives of the Ministry of Defence or its agencies have attended every meeting of the aviation committee held over the last three years.

Mr. Ingram

To ask the President of the Board of Trade when the aviation committee was established within his Department.

[holding answer 30 March 1993]: The answer is 1986.

To ask the President of the Board of Trade on how many occasions in each year the aviation committee has met.

Mr. Leigh

[holding answer 30 March 1993]: The Aviation Committee has met on three occasions each year except for 1986 when it met twice, 1987 when it met on four occasions, and 1989 when it met once.

To ask the President of the Board of Trade if he will give details of the current membership of the aviation committee.
