§ Mr. StewartThe Scottish Office is participating fully with other Government Departments and voluntary organisations to plan and promote a wide-ranging programme of events for the European Year of Older People and Solidarity Between Generations. A diary of events taking place in Scotland has been produced and is being added to all the time. Funding to assist with the promotion of the year in Scotland is being made available by the Scottish Office.
