To ask the Secretary of State for Health what are the numbers of administrators/ management employed in each regional health authority, district health authority and family health services authority, in England and Wales.

The figures for 1991 (the latest year for which figures are available) include staff in national health service trusts. Information on Wales is the responsibility of my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Wales.
