What plans they have to complete the Cross-rail project.
The Earl of CaithnessWe remain committed to securing for London the benefits which Cross-rail will bring. We believe the project should best go forward as a joint venture with the private sector. We are therefore looking afresh at the Cross-rail proposals so as to be sure we can maximise the participation and involvement of the private sector and secure best value for money for the taxpayer.
