To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer what estimate he has of the United Kingdom tax burden, in percentage averge terms in(a) 1993–94 and (b) 1995–96; and if he will make a statement.

§ Mr. Dorrell
An estimate of the tax burden in 1993–94, and a projection for 1995–96, is provided in table 2B.2 of the 1993–94 "Financial Statement and Budget Report".
