To ask the Secretary of State for Health (1) if she will make a statement on the future of Rampton hospital;

(2) when she expects to publish the Reed committee's report on the future of high security care;

(3) what plans she has to place services for mentally disordered offenders into the internal market; and if she will make a statement.

The working group on high security psychiatric services chaired by Dr. John Reed expects to submit its report next month. We shall be taking decisions on the future provision of these services in the light of the working group's recommendations. There are no current plans to close Rampton hospital or the other special hospitals.

The number of cancer registrations for female breast cancer in 1981 for England and Wales was 21,164. Survival rates relating to 1981 registrations of breast cancer are shown in the table:
