§ Mr. Stewart[holding answer 23 March 1993]: Six Scottish Office officials are currently seconded to the European Commission. Five are at unified grade 7 level; one is a senior agricultural officer. One Scottish Office official at unified grade 5 level has been seconded to the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and is posted to the office of the United Kingdom Permanent Representative to the European Communities.
