To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what recent estimate he has made as to when BSE will be eradicated.

There is growing evidence to support the view that measures taken by the Government should be sufficient to bring about the disappearance of BSE, but it is impossible to predict how long this process will take.
