To ask the Secretary of State for National Heritage how many prosecutions took place in Pendle for television licence evasion for the latest year for which figures are available.

Separate statistics for Pendle, which falls within the area administered by the Preston TV licensing inquiry office are not available. In 1992, there were 6,238 prosecutions for television licence evasion in the Preston TVLEO area.
