§ Mr. Garel-JonesThe joint arms control implementation group has a programme of training exchanges with verification agencies in the former Warsaw pact states and recently hosted a highly successful seminar on the practical implementation of arms control agreements. The United Kingdom is also offering places to inspectors from former Warsaw pact states on forthcoming national inspections under the treaty on conventional armed forces in Europe.
