To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, pursuant to his answer of 26 February,Official Report, column 763, what are the numbers of minibus passengers and drivers killed and seriously injured in road accidents in Britain in each year since 1989.

[holding answer 9 March 1993]: Police reports on personal injury road accidents classify minibuses together with motor caravans. Driver and passenger fatalities and serious casualties in this broad group are shown in table A. Casualties in vehicles with nine to 35 seats in the Hackney taxation class are shown in table B.
