HC Deb 11 March 1993 vol 220 cc676-7W
Mr. Morgan

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport what consultations he has had with KPMG Corporate Finance regarding the error in the advertisement for sale of the Driver and Vehicle Office of Information Technology in the Financial Times of Tuesday 16 February; what effect this error will have on the closing date for replies expressing an interest; and what consultations he has had in relation to the impact of the error on the rules of compliance of the European Commission for the advertisement of public procurement contracts in the Official Journal.

Mr. Kenneth Carlisle

[holding answer 9 March 1993]: Consultations with KPMG Corporate Finance, and other advisers on the privatisation of DVOIT, have not revealed any error in the Financial Times advertisement, so there would be no effect on the closing date for replies, or doubt about compliance with EC requirements.
