Mr. Redmond

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department (1) if he will provide by police authority for England details of the ratio of the standard spending assessment and the population served for the years 1991–92, 1992–93 and 1993–24; and if he will make a statement;

(2) if he will list the ratio of the approved establishment to the population served in each police authority area in England in 1991–92 and 1992–93, and proposed for 1993–94; and if he will make a statement.
