§ Mr. GoodladI understand that the Dalai Lama will be visiting this country privately in May. As a distinguished religious leader and Nobel Prize winner he is very welcome. My right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs has indicated that, if596W a suitable time can be found, he would be glad to have a private meeting with his holiness. I do not know the private plans of other members of the Government.
