§ Mr. Archie HamiltonRoad traffic accidents involving military personnel serving overseas are investigated by the service police in liaison with the local police authorities. The findings of the police investigation are submitted to command headquarters for consideration. A board of inquiry may subsequently be convened if the command authorities require an internal investigation additional to that of the police, but this is not normally considered necessary.
