§ Mr. Stewart[holding answer 26 February 1993]: Remuneration of non-executive members of Tayside health board commenced only in April 1991 and has remained at its initial level of £5,000 per annum. In addition these members are entitled to claim travelling and subsistence allowances at rates set for members of public bodies. Information is not held centrally on the amount of allowances claimed on the payment of executive members, which is a matter for the board itself.
