To ask the Secretary of State for Wales, pursuant to his statement to the House on 1 March,Official Report, columns 22–23, in relation to Cardiff's status as capital city of Wales, when he proposes to meet the leaders of Cardiff city council and South Glamorgan county council, and the chairman of Cardiff Bay development corporation; by what date he intends to complete the definition of the study into Cardiff's future; what financial contribution he intends to make towards the cost of such consultancy studies as arise from the definition of a study; what public consultation exercise he will propose; and when he proposes to make a further statement.
