§ Mr. Neil HamiltonTwo. The accountant inspectors in the Guinness plc and Astra Holdings plc investigations are, or have been, partners in KPMG Peat Marwick. One of the firms that now form KPMG Peat Marwick was criticised in the inspectors' report on Orbit Holdings plc, published on 23 December 1981. The firm's Bermuda office was criticised in the inspectors' report on Alexander Howden Holding plc, published on 29 August 1990. In both cases, the events in question occurred between 10 and 20 years ago.
