§ Mr. McLoughlinThere are no plans to change current procedures for recording the unemployment figures derived from the claimant count and from the labour force survey. If there are any changes to publication arrangements these will be announced in advance, as usual.
§ Mr. RedmondTo ask the Secretary of State for Employment if she will list the changes that have been made to the way unemployment figures have been calculated since 1979.
