What arrangements they are making for their conference in Manchester next September at which Non-Governmental Organisations will be invited to review progress since the Rio Conference on environment and development, and in particular what part the Non-Governmental Organisations will play in establishing the agenda for that conference.
§ The Under-Secretary of State, Department of the Environment (Lord Strathclyde)I refer the noble Lord to the reply given by my right honourable friend in another place to the honourable Member for Blackpool, North on 26th February [Official Report, col. 738] about the work of the international advisory group on the Partnerships for Change conference. We put out a consultation note seeking views on the conference in November, and we are considering the responses.
