§ Sir Wyn RobertsSixteen schools in Wales have balloted the parents of their pupils on the acquisition of grant maintained status. Of these one is an Anglican school and one a Roman Catholic. An application from the former is currently before me; the Roman Catholic school was incorporated as a grant maintained school on 1 January 1992.
