§ Lord James Douglas-HamiltonThe survey by Highlands and Islands Enterprise which was carried out with the full co-operation of the Army confirmed the important role which the Royal Artillery range Hebrides plays in the economic and social structure of the islands of Benbecula and North and South Uist. There are at present no plans to commission further studies.
