§ Mr. Llew Smith
To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Co mmonwealth Affairs if he will make a statement on the agreement reached between Mr. Ekeus as special representative for the United Nations Security Council and the Iraqi government on 22 July in regard to implementation of UN Security Council resolutions in Iraq.

§ Mr. Douglas Hogg
Security Council members, including the United Kingdom, have expressed support for Mr. Ekeus' actions. The Security Council, and UNSCOM, will continue to press for sustained Iraqi implementation of the relevant Security Council resolutions.
