Friend has discussed a range of subjects related to local government reform, including transport issues, with a number of regional councils and other local authority interests. In addition we have paid careful attention to the many responses to our consultation paper, "Shaping the New Councils", from regional councils and others, which discussed transport arrangements under the new single-tier structure.
