To ask the Secretary of State for Health how many dispensing opticians have joined the optical consumer complaints service; and what percentage that represents of the total number of dispensing opticians.

§ Mr. Sackville
The optical consumer complaints service does not hold figures on the numbers of individuals who118W have become members. Since it was set up in January this year, 2, 127 optical practices, both ophthalmic optician-managed and dispensing optician-managed, have become members.
