§ Mr. Robin SquireInformation on the full-time equivalent numbers of education support and administrative staff employed in maintained schools in England in January 1992—the latest date for which information is available—is shown in the table. Information on premises-related staff in schools is not collected centrally.
Similar information on centrally employed non-teaching staff is not collected by the Department, although tables showing the total numbers of teachers and lecturers and of other staff employed in the education service of each local authority have been placed in the Library.
