To ask the Secretary of State for National Heritage what advice he has received from registered pools promoters about the effects of the National Lottery Bill on their business if enacted unaltered.

Since the publication of the Bill, the pools companies have directed their concerns to the press.

To ask the Secretary of State for National Heritage what further research he has commissioned from the GAH Consulting Group since 7 October 1992, into the effects of a national lottery.

To ask the Secretary of State for National Heritage what percentage of pools turnover is retained by the promoters as profit after payment of pool betting duty and contributions to the Football Trust and Foundation for Sport and the Arts.
