To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment what plans he has to abolish the Architects Registration Council.

The Department has received the report by Mr. John Warne CB of his review of the Architects (Registration) Acts 1931 to 1969. We are at present considering its recommendations and will make an announcement shortly.
