§ Mr. NorrisIn his autumn statement, the Chancellor of the Exchequer announced that the Department of68W Transport would be spending £6.4 billion next year. Of this, £1 billion will go to London Transport. As many projects relate both to inside and outside London, it is not possible to identify exactly how much of the remaining £5.4 billion will be spent on transport services in London.
