§ Mr. Lennox-BoydThe United Kingdom was not asked to contribute forces to this operation and has no plans to do so. United Nations Security Council resolution 795 authorised deployment of troops and observers in Macedonia which has initially involved Canadian troops pending the arrival of Scandinavian forces.
