§ Dr. MawhinneyEntitlement to free prescriptions is governed by the provisions of paragraph 1 of schedule 12 to the National Health Service Act 1977, the National Health Service (Charges for Drugs and Appliances) Regulations 1989 [SI 1989 No. 419], as amended,. and the National Health Service (Travelling Expenses and Remission of Charges) Regulations 1988 [SI 1988 No. 551], as amended, copies of which are in the Library.
