§ Mr. BurtDuring the six-month period ending 30 September 1992, a total of £1,499,236 was disbursed as ex-gratia payments, of which £1,113,367 represented compensation payments. The records kept do not distinguish between payments made for delay in payment of benefit and payments made for interruption of benefit.
