§ Lord James Douglas-Hamilton[holding answer 18 February 1993]Scottish Homes estimates that nearly £1.2 million was paid in 1990–91 and £0.9 million in 1991–92 towards providing accommodation specifically for students. Students may also have access to other general needs housing funded by Scottish Homes.
