§ Mr. CurryThe European Commission's price-fixing proposals include the addition of linseed to the list of crops eligible for aid in 1993 under the arable area payments scheme, which includes provisions for set-aside. The timing of this proposal takes no account of farming practice and causes considerable difficulties for linseed producers. I am therefore opposing it.
