To ask the President of the Board of Trade if he considers that Cornwall should be eligible for grants from the European structural funds.

Yes. The Government believe that Northern Ireland, the highlands and islands, Merseyside, Devon and Cornwall, rural Wales and South Yorkshire should be eligible for grants under objective 1 of these funds.
