To ask the Secretary of State for Social Security how many people aged 60 years and over began employment in his Department in 1992.

Mr. Burt

A total of 25 such people started employment in the Department and its agencies in 1992. This figure excludes casual staff, but includes nine staff who transferred from other Government Departments.
