§ Dame Angela RumboldTo ask the Secretary of State for Health (1) what plans she has for ensuring that changes to specialised medical activity will continue to maintain close links with primary and secondary levels of medical care;
(2) what steps she has taken to ensure that the special needs of children in hospital who are suffering from an acute illness or requiring a specialised service should be protected; and what plans she has for an investigation prior to changes arising from the Tomlinson report;
(3) what plans she has to continue funding for the specialised medical services at current levels if they are relocated following the Tomlinson report.
