§ Mr. Mackinlay
To ask the Secretary of State for Transport what property, rights or liabilities of Northern Ireland Railways are affected by the Railways Bill.

§ Mr. Freeman
It is not the intention that Northern Ireland Railways should be affected in any way by the provisions of the Railways Bill.

§ Mr. Mackinlay
To ask the Secretary of State for Transport what property, rights or liabilities of British Rail relate to Northern Ireland.

§ Mr. Freeman
That is a matter for British Rail, but I understand that the board has no significant property, rights or liabilities in Northern Ireland.
