A full explanation has been provided by the branch Crown prosecutor in a letter to solicitors acting on behalf of Mr. Uddin and I do not consider that any further inquiry is necessary. As I stated in my answer to the hon. Member for Leyton, a copy of the letter containing this explanation has been placed in the Library.
