§ Mr. GummerThe proposals for a very lightweight regime are set out in COM(92)185 final which was published in the Official Journal No. C333 on 17 December 1992. The December Agriculture Council asked for further work to be done by the special committee for agriculture to progress the Commission's proposals including the addition of provision for marketing standards and for it to be referred back to the Council for decision as soon as the European Parliament has given its opinion.
