§ Mr. Douglas HoggThe United Kingdom has not provided Russia with research assistance in connection with ending biological weapons programmes. Under the terms of a trilateral agreement reached between the United Kingdom, the United States and Russia on 11 September 1992, various measures to monitor compliance with the 1972 biological and toxic weapons convention are envisaged including an examination of ways to promote co-operation in the conversion of biological weapons facilities.
