To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will list the area, in hectares, of new entrants to the five-year set-aside scheme for Scotland in the year beginning September 1991, the number of hectares which came out of the scheme in the year ending September 1991 and the number of hectares that have joined the scheme since September 1992.

(a) New entrants in the year from 1 October 1991: 3,765 hectares.
